Finally, after being gone for almost 6 months we had a chance to visit our son and his family for Thanksgiving.
We went from North Dakota to just outside of Minneapolis, MN the first night. (2 states) Saturday we drove from Minnesota through Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi and spent the night in Louisiana. (5 states) We had our car checked out and then headed back to north Mississippi, Monday night, where our son lives. 3 very long days of driving but destination was finally achieved.
We will get to visit until Friday morning when we will head back to North Dakota via, Missippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota. The plan is to arrive back in Minot, ND Sunday evening.
A very long drive but it was so worth it to see our family and get to spend the holiday with them. Hope to be back for Christmas.
