Childhood Wisdom
The teenage son was having trouble mastering the fine points of
balancing his new checking account.
"The bank returned the check you wrote to the sporting goods store," his
mother said.
"Oh good," he replied, "Now I can use it to buy some stereo equipment!"
One day, a little girl is sitting and watching her mother do the dishes
at the kitchen sink. She notices that her mother has a few white hairs.
"Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?" she asks.
Her mother replies, "Every time you do something wrong, one of my hairs
turns white."
The little girl thinks about this for a moment, then asks, "So how come
ALL of Grandma's hairs are white?"
A father and his small son were standing in front of the tiger's cage at
the zoo. The father was explaining how ferocious and strong tigers are,
and junior was taking it all in with a serious expression.
Dad," the boy said hesitantly, "if the tiger got out of his cage and ate
you up..."
"Yes, son?" his father said expectantly.
"What bus would I take home?"
