Jamestown, North Dakota part 3

Continuing our visit to Jamestown and their pioneer village.


The local sheriff''s office and jail



Larry thought he would check it out from the inside.

Louis L'amour is from Jamestown and the town has dedicated one building to his books.

This whole building is filled with his books.

This is an original log cabin.  Notice the door is very low so they put a cushion over it to protect people's heads from getting bumped.



One side was designated for the bed and clothing


The other side was for cooking

One more day and we will complete our visit to the pioneer village.
